Yahoo Finance: Stocks & News App Reviews

I liked the earlier version that I have used for 10 yrs but I think this new version is a step up. I would like to keep the current price visible on the Watchlist page, its more useful than seeing how much DayGain. It would be helpful if the user could shrink the width of certain columns--ie, why have room to write seven digits of shares when most people only need room for 100 or 500 shares?

We need the transition ability to from linear to candle sticks

Beats the iOS stock app, hands down.

I used to love this all, but now its started to display inaccurate premarket activity. Everyday it has the same wrong premarket for several stocks I follow and for others, it randomly has it. Cant use a stock all thats giving false and in accurate data.

Really good app for news and simple charts and simple data, the only thing I wish that it had was more complicated charts with resistance lines and support lines available

Application after today update shuts down and force closes by itself. I like the design and the continued added features that adds to the applications awesomeness . I would like to still have the ability to download financials on the fly. These would allow me to clip it to my calendar to analyze at a later date. Along with the added ability of a reminder on my calendar and when I first came to the idea.

The oh-so-slow improvement in this app mirrors that of the entire company. Why not give users the ability to customize the presentation of equity data? I dont need the entire kitchen sink of data elements; I do need to scroll less while still seeing 3-5 key pieces of data about the 25 stocks I follow. I should be able to see about 100 data elements on one screen without scrolling. A simple executive dashboard UI would do. How about providing one?

The color combination in the app header is not easy on the eyes.

Theyre currently showing the indices with positive gain when in reality it is negative losses today.

Ive been using yahoo finance for years. The desktop version and iPhone app. Both are great and love the improvements on new iPhone app. I just wish yahoo went into brokerage business so I dont have to keep entering my purchases in yahoo. Tda (3 versions of apps. Lol), Etrade, and Optionshouse stink. Actually the next best app is Robinhood which is an app that you can trade stocks on for no commissions. Go figure, the 2 free sites have the best apps!!

Nice app. Easy to use and pleasant interface. The update is cool and makes life bit more easier to edit. I love it.

Great app but where is the candlestick option?

After using many apps over the years to keep track of my investments plus media coverage that is fair and interesting I tried Yahoo and this app is the very best.

Much better since upgrade but needs more affiliations to get articles on a given stock. Articles are lacking and not complete
