Yahoo Finance: Stocks & News App Reviews

Always loved this app, use it countless times every day, but the latest update doesnt work well. Never seems to want to update prices, just the spinning wheel forever. Graphs often wrong. Please fix and get back to the great app that it was!

This app has very useful info for new investors.

Generally speaking, its good, but I would like options to customize watchlists (add notes, group by sector or price or purpose, etc.) or create different watchlists entirely. The "news" collections relevant yo your individual stock seem sketchy and repetitive without substance, plus there are weird unrelated ads in the middle of them. Perhaps if they were less strange... You have to dig in to another screen to find real data, including basic sector labeling. Mostly I wish the watchlist aspect were better. I can live with everything else.

Yahoo Finance does a great job of updating and keeping a great record of the highs and lows for the stock each day. I use this for a Macroeconomics project and it works awesome.

Yahoo Finance was a game changer app for ease of use, interface design and portfolio tracking. The initial release was full of bugs. While these were mostly fixed, another unusual thing happened. The apps visual appeal declined over time.

Wrote review saying Portfolios cant be found. Was told nickname no longer available. Click on cancel and review Id written disappeared. Shame on both Yahoo and Apple.

Usually the first to headline. This week the app featured a full 7 hour meeting of Buffetts shareholders meeting. Excellent quality.

App works well for me. Could do well with a cost basis column instead of having to tap on # of shares to see cost per share.
